Support their efforts through taking part in their 5k on June 11th.
Compassion Coffee is a specialty coffee company in Anoka with a mission to provide employment, skill training, and resources for people affected by homelessness. Their gala is an annual event with the purpose of sharing stories of impact and raising funds for our vision of empowering people affected by homelessness. There will be live music, appetizers, dinner, an auction, and photo booth. 5-9pm
Stop the Trafficking is a collaborative event that began in 2013, with the goal of coming together as a community to raise awareness and engage in the fight to end human trafficking. The team, led by Grace Church, partners with other local churches, businesses and the City of Eden Prairie, to host this 5K, which is the largest run held in Eden Prairie. Modern day slavery touches all facets of society, therefore, we all need to come together to end it.

Join Hearts & Hammers for the 2026 Twin Cities Golf Classic at Majestic Oaks Golf Club, where golfers and community supporters come together for a day of golf, connection, and purpose. Proceeds from the tournament directly support Hearts & Hammers and our mission to provide free exterior home repairs for senior citizens, disabled individuals, and military veterans of the United States Armed Forces or their surviving spouses. Funds raised help homeowners across the Twin Cities remain safe, independent, and secure in the homes they love. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome. Teams will compete in foursomes, enjoying great golf, friendly competition, and meaningful impact.
Ralph was a lovable boy who had a disability few people understood in the 1920’s. Most people believed Ralph should be placed in an institution but Hammer and Ner founder, Alvina Hammer, offered a caring environment, the first Hammer School. Ralph was the inspiration for their logo figure and statues. He reaches toward the sky, symbolizing hope and striving for all that is possible. Ralph represents individuals, with differing abilities who thrive, living the life they deserve with compassionate care in their communities.

Join Family Promise in Anoka County in celebrating the Grand Opening of the new 8-unit Guest House, which will serve as temporary housing for Anoka County families experiencing homelessness. The Family Promise Guest House is more than a shelter – each unit includes its own kitchen and bathroom, allowing families more autonomy, privacy, and dignity. The trauma-informed design aspires to the hope that children may not even know their family is in a homelessness program. Join us on Tuesday, June 23 to celebrate, tour the new space, and learn more about the program vision. RSVPs are requested.
