November 16-December 22 Salvation Army Bell Ringing

The bell ringing season starts each November and runs through Christmas Eve, when the red kettles are packed away for the season. Volunteers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries, or shelter an individual for a night.

Coated In Love is a 501(c)3 charitable organization with 100% proceeds going to our mission of providing hope, help and resources to people experiencing homelessness and to all who are in need. Our one-day event — 3000 Acts of Kindness — brings our mission into action. This is a place where all those experiencing homelessness are personally invited to come and receive material needs, but more importantly, to be truly seen, known, and loved. This all-volunteer event, promoted by word of mouth, served 900 guests in its first year. The next year, the numbers grew to nearly 3,000 guests, supported by 500 volunteers. These numbers are expected to continue to grow.
