Hearts & Hammers exists to provide exterior home improvement assistance for Senior Citizens, Disabled Individuals, and Veterans of the United States Armed Forces or their Surviving Spouse so that they may continue living independently. Often these neighbors face the reality of losing the place they love. Hearts & Hammers provides free exterior restorations to keep that from happening. All proceeds from this Silent Auction will support the low-income homeowners they serve in Minnesota and Texas.

GRACE provides respite resources for caregivers of special needs children. Caring for children is the most rewarding and beautiful calling in life and often times it is the most exhausting; especially when your child has special needs. The responsibility is squarely on the shoulders of parents, siblings and other family members. These families can be incredibly strong but even the strongest families can use a respite. Come attend a night of respite at Constance Free Church. While there you are also invited to register for The Chat, which is an educational support series for caregivers.

Special Olympics Minnesota is excited to host the 2025 State Bowling tournaments across Minnesota the weekend of November 14-16 and are hoping for a few more incredible volunteers to help make the event possible! No experience is needed, volunteers must be 11 years or older (volunteering with a chaperone) or 15+ to volunteer on their own.

The bell ringing season starts each November and runs through Christmas Eve, when the red kettles are packed away for the season. Volunteers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries, or shelter an individual for a night.

Did you know sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in young athletes? As supporters of the Coon Rapids Community, the Coon Rapids Fire Department Community Fund wants to raise awareness and funds to help the young athletes in our area and surrounding communities detect potential heart problems early so they can receive proper medical attention and monitoring as they participate in high school sports and events. A portion of our net proceeds raised through this event will be used to purchase an additional AED that will be installed at the Coon Rapids High School. This will now be the third AED donated to the school for the purpose of being available in the event that one is needed during a sporting event or training.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities will hold the 23rd Annual Interrupt Homelessness Radiothon to benefit those served by the Mission! WCCO AM 830 will broadcast live from the Mall of America Rotunda from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. On-air hosts will sit down with residents, volunteers and staff to share real stories of hope, healing and transformation. Together, they hope to raise critical funds for meals, safe shelter and the holistic care that helps interrupt the cycle of homelessness.

Volunteers will meet at our office for a short orientation and to pack kits and then follow our van to families’ homes

Good in the ‘Hood is dedicated to changing lives together with simple acts of kindness. Although our service opportunities are not solely limited to the urban community, they do have a purposeful inner-city affinity and a commitment to serve those with the most need. Volunteer opportunities include supporting their Shoe Away Hunger program through shoe sorting & and food shelf events. Opportunities exist throughout the metro area.

The Club is currently meeting in-person twice per month on the second and fourth Monday of each month beginning at 12:15 p.m. at the Bunker Hills Event Center.
