The 2025 A Breath of Hope Gala brings together survivors, families, advocates, and supporters for a night of celebration, connection, and purpose. Enjoy live music, gourmet dining, a wine ring toss, and exciting silent and live auctions. The evening’s program will uplift and inspire, spotlighting stories of hope and the collective impact of our community.

Join My Very Own Bed for conversation and community building. They believe relationships truly matter, and are critical to supporting kids' healthy sleep. They look forward to introducing you to other supporters, sharing and hearing updates, answering your questions, and listening to your ideas.

Special Olympics Minnesota is excited to host the 2025 State Bowling tournaments across Minnesota the weekend of November 14-16 and are hoping for a few more incredible volunteers to help make the event possible! No experience is needed, volunteers must be 11 years or older (volunteering with a chaperone) or 15+ to volunteer on their own.

Did you know sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in young athletes? As supporters of the Coon Rapids Community, the Coon Rapids Fire Department Community Fund wants to raise awareness and funds to help the young athletes in our area and surrounding communities detect potential heart problems early so they can receive proper medical attention and monitoring as they participate in high school sports and events. A portion of our net proceeds raised through this event will be used to purchase an additional AED that will be installed at the Coon Rapids High School. This will now be the third AED donated to the school for the purpose of being available in the event that one is needed during a sporting event or training.

This holiday season, make wishes come true! Join Twin Cities Harley-Davidson North for “Give Big, Win Big!” – a special Charity Toy Drive benefiting Wishes & More, with your chance to ROLL the dice and ride away on a Brand New 2025 Harley-Davidson Road Glide! November 15th, 12pm-3pm.

The bell ringing season starts each November and runs through Christmas Eve, when the red kettles are packed away for the season. Volunteers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries, or shelter an individual for a night.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities will hold the 23rd Annual Interrupt Homelessness Radiothon to benefit those served by the Mission! WCCO AM 830 will broadcast live from the Mall of America Rotunda from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. On-air hosts will sit down with residents, volunteers and staff to share real stories of hope, healing and transformation. Together, they hope to raise critical funds for meals, safe shelter and the holistic care that helps interrupt the cycle of homelessness.

Bring a toy to the Coon Rapids Ice Center and receive BOGO public skating admission while experiencing other fun activities!

Volunteer with UGMTC as they serve the community with meals and more through our annual Thanksgiving Food Distribution (11/24) and a special dinner served to Mission residents and community members on Thanksgiving Day (11/27).

If you're a skilled handyman or handywoman, Hearts & Hammers is looking for volunteers to help with specific home repair needs for low-income veterans, seniors, and individuals with special needs. Your expertise can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life — whether it’s fixing a door, installing safety features, or making a home more livable and secure. Interested in lending a hand? This is a hands-on outreach opportunity for families with kids, individuals, clubs, teams, youth groups, or work groups to assemble dream kits and help deliver beds and dream kits to children in our community in need of beds. Volunteers will meet at our office for a short orientation and to pack kits and then follow our van to families’ homes

Good in the ‘Hood is dedicated to changing lives together with simple acts of kindness. Although our service opportunities are not solely limited to the urban community, they do have a purposeful inner-city affinity and a commitment to serve those with the most need. Volunteer opportunities include supporting their Shoe Away Hunger program through shoe sorting & and food shelf events. Opportunities exist throughout the metro area.

Delivering meals is a simple and rewarding way to help seniors and people with disabilities in need of hot meals and a daily visit from a friendly face, and you can do it over lunch! Choose to volunteer weekly, biweekly, monthly or as scheduled.

Our primary focus is on supporting youth and education, along with various community groups - through a combination of hands-on, roll-up-our-sleeves service and fundraising efforts. Feel free to join us for good conversation, inspiration and more importantly learn more about we do to make a positive impact in the community and around the world. The Club is currently meeting in-person twice per month on the second and fourth Monday of each month beginning at 12:15 p.m. at the Bunker Hills Event Center.
