With no known cause or cure, a person can expect to live typically 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. Leading the way in global ALS research, the ALS Association works on enhancing quality of life and encouraging hope while aggressively pursuing new treatments and cures. This 1.5 mile walk works to raise awareness and funds for two organizations in Anoka County working to end homelessness for youth and adults Join us as we walk to end homelessness in Anoka County! Registration starts at 2 pm and the walk starts at 2:30 pm from the church parking lot. Learn about Stepping Stone and Hope 4 Youth and the work they are doing. Raffles and T-shirts will be available for participants as part of the walk and also available for purchase. This 1.5-mile walk is an opportunity to bring together families, students, and individuals in the hope of raising awareness of homelessness in Anoka County. Chain of Lakes Church, the event organizer, works with our community partners, Stepping Stone and Hope 4 Youth, and the funds received from this event will help financially support those two organizations.
